Harry-Meghan will return to UK with children, Prince William & Kate Middleton calls it an ‘unwelcome surprise’
Harry-Meghan latest update: For the first time in four years, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to come with their children Archie and Lilibet to attend a major event in July

We are all aware of the rift between the British royal family and Harry-Meghan, but according to reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to bring their two children to the UK in July.
The Duke of Sussex might take his family to the UK for the first time in four years to attend the one-year countdown party for the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.
According to Daily Mail report, “It’s been a real point of great sadness – for Harry especially – that he's been unable to bring his wife and kids back to the UK safely to reconnect with friends and family, but anyone would understand his desire to put their safety first.”
It will be after four long years that, Duke will visit UK with his wife, Meghan Markle and both the kids after moving to California. Though it is not clear whether King Charles The King last saw his grandchildren during the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.
Reason for Harry coming to UK with family
Harry is also expected to promote the upcoming Invictus Games 2027, which will be held in Birmingham next year, during the visit. According to reports published in News.com.au, the Duke has longed to bring his family back to his homeland for many years.
Harry feels ‘great sadness' over the disconnection with his home country. According to reports published in NDTV, “It's been a real point of great sadness – for Harry especially – that he's been unable to bring his wife and kids back to the UK safely to reconnect with friends and family, but anyone would understand his desire to put their safety first.”
However, Prince William and Kate Middleton belives that a potential return and new TV projects as an 'unwelcome surprise' and 'personal attack', causing royal tensions to remain high.
Bridging the gap
Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle gave up their Royal title that led to a lot of chatter about a feud in the family. Firstpost earlier reported on this. Prince Harry has said he wishes to reconcile with King Charles, his father.
“I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point in continuing to fight anymore. Life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has. He won’t speak to me because of this security stuff, but it would be nice to reconcile,” he was quoted saying. The meeting was seen as a first step in improving relations between and bridging the gap between the British royal family and Harry and Meghan.
