Following a triumphant sweep across the international film festival circuit, the critically acclaimed short film "Echoes of Us" is set to take center stage at the world’s most prestigious cinematic gathering. The film will be showcased by the Indian Panorama International Film Festival during the 79th Cannes Film Festival on May 14, 2026, followed by a featured screening at the French Riviera International Film Festival (FRIFF) on May 16, 2026.

​Directed by Joe Rajan and produced by Pooja Batra (Glow Bell Inc.) And alliance media pty ltd "Echoes of Us" is a poignant narrative that explores the harrowing depths of emotional neglect and the haunting nature of memory. The film stars veteran actor Deepak Tijori and marks the powerful acting debut of celebrated singer Iulia Vantur.

​Before arriving at the French Riviera, "Echoes of Us" amassed over 88 international laurels. Most recently, the film made history at the South Asian International Film Festival (SAIFFF) Florida, securing a triple win including "Best Short Film" and top acting honors for both Tijori and Vantur.

The film's emotional resonance is further heightened by its soulful soundtrack, featuring the track "Tere Sang"—a collaboration between Vantur and Arijit Singh, released under Salman Khan Films Music.

What the film is about?

​"Echoes of Us" follows a man (Tijori) who, after the sudden loss of his wife (Vantur), wanders through the remnants of their shared life. As memory rises from the silence, he is forced to confront not just his grief, but the love he overlooked and the echoes of a woman left unheard.
