Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s wife and a leading entrepreneur Gauri Khan, made a name for herself as an interior designer over the last few years. Gauri, being the talented designer she is, created spaces for notable individuals such as Mukesh Ambani, Roberto Cavalli, and Ralph Lauren.Now, she has embarked on a new journey as she decided to expand her business by entering the hospitality sector. Recently, Gauri Khan launched her first restaurant, Torii, in Bandra. She even hosted a party to introduce her modern Asian restaurant and gathering witnessed her close-knit group of friends.The private launch party organised by Gauri Khan saw numerous celebrities joining her for the bash. These celebrities include Karan Johar, Bhavana Pandey, Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Seema Kiran Sajdeh, Avinash Gowariker, Arslan Goni, Sussanne Khan, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Notably, Seema Sajdeh, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, and Neelam Kothari, were seen together on the Netflix show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. The divas, who share a close bond, posed together at the bash.Gauri, for her restaurant launch, went for a shimmery top which she paired with black pants. On the other hand, Sussanne Khan who is also an interior designer looked adorable in a red dress, as she posed alongside actor-boyfriend Arslan Goni. Meanwhile, Sanjay Kapoor and Chunky Pandey also accompanied their wives Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Pandey to attend the event.Earlier, Gauri shared glimpses of Torii Mumbai's interiors through her Instagram handle. The pictures showed a lively colour palette of gold, red, and green used to create the designs of the restaurant. In her Instagram post, Gauri Khan wrote, "My first venture into hospitality Torii Mumbai. Immerse yourself in luxury and warmth with our stunning gold accents, vibrant lighting, and rich reds and greens. Come join us at Torii Mumbai - Now open for you to explore."When asked what she learned through her experience as a first-time restaurateur in an interview with Vogue Indian recently, Gauri said, "We’re just getting started; the learnings are yet to come. I’m excited to see what this journey holds for everyone involved and I’m really happy to be embarking on this journey with my friends and co-partners Tanaaz Bhatia and Abhayraj Kohli."
