Game of Thrones season 7 premiere date revealed; expect White Walkers to get more screen time

Only Game of Thrones fans know how tough the long wait for the next season truly is. Let's just say that it's like going through one's very own Night's Watch.After making fans wait for a giant block of ice to melt, it was revealed that Season 7 of the groundbreaking HBO series will premiere on 16 July.Of course, this is still a long wait. But now, at least we know when our Watch will end (in a good way).A teaser was also released for the next season, which shows sigils of the various Houses in the show and crucial dialogues from previous seasons, until the sigils crumble and the camera zooms out to focus on a creepy blue eye.This probably means that the White Walkers will finally get the massive importance that they deserve on the show.The reason fans are waiting so eagerly for Season 7 is that it will be the second-last season of the series and will contain only seven episodes, unlike the ten episodes in each of the previous seasons.Another reason is the breakneck pace of Season 6 towards its end, especially in the last two episodes 'Battle of the Bastards' and 'The Winds of Winter', in which some of the most important developments in the show took place.The night is certainly dark, and full of terrors.
