What compels an actress or an actor to go under her knife? Fear of aging? Greed for beauty? Skin issues? There are many actresses in Bollywood who went under the knife and even spoke about it in their interviews or Instagram posts; here are some of them:

Priyanka Chopra

The actress revealed in an interview once she had severe asthma and had to undergo a nose surgery that cost her as many as three films. Speaking at The Howard Stern Show, Chopra said, “It was a dark phase,” after the surgery went wrong, and the same was confirmed by her first Bollywood director Anil Sharma. This thing happens, and my face looks completely different, and I went into a deep, deep depression,” Priyanka added. The Barfi actress also said, “I was terrified of that, but he was like, ‘I will be in the room with you. He held my hands through it and helped me build back my confidence.”

Koena Mitra

Koena Mitra also got a nose surgery done and Saif Ali Khan said on Koffee With Karan how her surgery went completely wrong, earning the wrath of the actress in the process. She called the Race star a Gareeb Nawaab.

Ayesha Takia

She was captured at the airport and the moment she made an appearance, users on social media trolled her for her alleged plastic surgery and ruining her face. She shared a note that read- “ You can’t control how people perceive your energy. Anything you do or say gets filtered through the lens of whatever they are going through at the moment, which is totally not about you.”
