Former The Only Way Is Essex star Jake Hall has died at the age of 35 following a tragic incident at a villa in Majorca, Spain.
According to a report in Sun UK, Hall was found with fatal head injuries at a rented property in Santa Margalida after what authorities believe may have been a tragic accident involving a glass door.
Police investigating villa party incident
Spanish Civil Guard officials are reportedly treating the death as an accident, although investigations are still ongoing.
Witnesses told investigators that Hall had been partying through the night before returning to the villa with friends. Reports suggest he may have collided with or smashed through a glass door, leading to severe injuries. A source told the same portal, “Witnesses told investigators he had been out partying all night and decided to carry on the party back at the place he was renting. It appears from what police have been told that he became agitated, possibly from alcohol and other substances he may have consumed.”
The source also said at one point things “turned aggressive” and he may have “tried to harm himself by banging his head against things.”
Police have questioned several people who were present at the property, but no arrests have been made so far. An autopsy is expected to be conducted in Palma.
