The wedding of actor-politician Khushbu Sundar's elder daughter Avantika Sundar happened in Goa with Shravan Sreenivasan. The ceremony was attended by Chiranjeevi, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor. Other celebrities like Nagarjuna Akkineni, Venkatesh, Amala Akkineni graced the ceremony with their presence too.

Seeing the picture, most of the users had mixed reactions. One user wrote- “You gotta be disgustingly narcissistic for letting this happen when your wife of 20+ years and mother of your children has explicitly mentioned it’s humiliating and emotionally distressing in her petition.”
The politician’s divorce
Earlier this year in February, actor-politician Thalapathy Vijay's wife Sangeeta Sornalingam moved the Chengalpattu family court seeking a divorce after 25 years of marriage, as per a report by India Today. The ground for divorce that was stated was infidelity. She accused her husband of having an extra marital relationship with an actress who was later revealed to be Trisha Krishnan.
Divorce proceedings adjourned till August
As per reports, proceedings in the actor and Tamil Nadu’s CM’s divorce are moving at a snail’s pace in court at the moment. Although the case came up for hearing at the Chengalpattu Mahila Court on Monday, June 15, it was adjourned to another day soon enough without any major developments.
The Jana Nayagan fiasco
The release of Jana Nayagan, touted as Thalapathy Vijay’s last film before he transitions into politics full time, has been pushed back once again, with fresh reports confirming that the film will not hit theatres before April 30, 2026. The delay comes amid ongoing certification hurdles, mounting industry concerns, and a sensitive political backdrop in Tamil Nadu.
