Thalapathy Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s recently released blockbuster Leo has landed in trouble after a petition was filed against the film in the Madurai bench of the High Court. The petitioner, Raju Murugan from Madurai, criticized the film for its violent content and sought a ban on the film.

He also demanded a psychological examination of the director. It also accuses the film of essaying riots, illegal activities, drug trafficking, the use of firearms.

Lokesh Kanagaraj is one of the most renowned filmmakers in the South film industry. However, the director announced that he will take retirement from directing after making 10 films. After Leo, Lokesh Kanagaraj will be joining forces with Baahubali star Prabhas for a yet-to-be-titled drama. During a recent media interaction, Lokesh Kanagaraj rubbished these speculations saying that the Prabhas starrer is not going to be the final chapter of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). He further stated that the movie would be a stand-alone project.Lokesh Kanagaraj also mentioned that Kamal Hasaan-led Vikram 2 will put an end to the highly appreciated Lokesh Cinematic Universe. Given that the film will not be a part of the LCU, the audience can expect a new storyline, most likely with the director’s trademark action element.
