Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant Pre-Wedding Bash Day 2: ‘A Walk On The Wildside’ with Jungle fever, 'Mela Rouge' & more

Day 1 of the Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities witnessed an unforgettable forgettable concert of the pop sensation Rihanna along with a mesmerising drone show. Started with a bang, the festivities are now gearing up for its Day 2 celebrations which seems pretty low-key. However, even the low-key events are grand when hosted by the Ambani family.

As per the schedule released on Friday, Day 2 will host “A Walk on the Wildside” with jungle fever as the suggested dress code. Firstly, the guests will visit the Ambanis’ animal rescue centre in Jamnagar, the Vantara project. The guests have been suggested to wear comfortable shoes and clothing for this event for fun and education.

Later in the day, the invitees will be dressing in elegant outfits for 'Mela Rouge,' a colourful display of Indian culture and traditions. For the event, guests have been asked to dress in South Asian attire for the cultural extravaganza, promising a variety of desi activities. The dress code for the same is “dazzling desi romance.”

For those uninitiated, Reliance Industries and Reliance Foundation announced the launch of the Vantara (Star of the Forest) programme which is headed by Anant Ambani. Driven by the passion for wildlife, Anant, this initiative, will be contributing towards the rescue, treatment, care and rehabilitation of injured, abused and threatened animals.

Among the VVIPs attending the event are Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Morgan Stanley CEO Ted Pick, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Disney CEO Bob Iger, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, and EL Rothschild chair Lynn Forester de Rothschild. ⁠Hailing from the world of entertainment and cinema, renowned names like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, Dwayne Bravo, etc, are also attending the event.

Anant Ambani, 28, the youngest son of chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Limited Mukesh Ambani, and his wife Nita Ambani is all set to enter the marital bliss with Radhika Merchant, 29, the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant and his wife Shaila Merchant. The wedding will be held later this year. Currently, they are hosting a three-day gala pre-wedding bash from March 1-3.
