Ananaya Panday says 'I hate situationships' amid rumoured boyfriend Aditya Roy Kapur's comments on Koffee With Karan

In one of the episodes of Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan featuring Aditya Roy Kapur, the host asked the actor if he was dating Ananya Panday, to which he responded, "You see Karan, you said on your show – ask me no secrets and I'll tell you no lies."

When Johar further grilled the actor by saying, "she said that she is very Ananya Coy Kapur," he quipped, "And I am Aditya Joy Kapur, as of now." "Yes, you mean you are joyously in a situationship," Karan further said and Aditya replied, "Yes, I am quite joyous."

Ananya Panday responds

In an interview with India Today, the actress addressed her idea of relationships. "I hate situationships. I don't like that term only. Also, I'm not on a dating app and nor do I talk about my relationships on social media. I'm not someone, who will pretend to have a different relationship status just for the sake of social media," she said.

Panday was recently seen in Netflix's Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. In its review, Firstpost wrote- "Not giving out any spoilers, the movie touches upon child abuse too and the fact that it can happen to baby boys and how it can scar their entire life. In one of the scenes in the film, it shows how our world has become so fake. When we were in school we used to say, my father is a CEO of a multinational company. But now what will our kids say when the same question is asked to them? They will say “My father/ mother is an influencer joh naach naach ke saboon bach tah hai” (My father/ mother is an influencer who dances and sells soaps and other products.)."
