Ever since actor-couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor headed off to New York with their daughter Raha for a long vacation, the two have shared several photos making the most of their off-time. In the latest, the two bumped into Afghanistan's star cricketer Rashid Khan, who uploaded the picture on his Instagram account.

Sharing a picture of the three, the cricketer captioned the post, "With Bollywood’s biggest (star emoji). It was lovely to meet you Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt."

Uploaded a few hours ago, the post has amassed over 5.7 lakh views. Several users commented "OMG" and dropped red hearts on the post.

Decoding the trio's outfits

While Rashid Khan stood in the middle, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor posed with him for a happy picture at the sides. The actor kept his arm around Rashid as they posed while pointing towards the cricketer. The Afghan cricketer was dressed in a black hoodie, while Alia was dressed in a black T-shirt. Ranbir, on the other hand, sported a grey t-shirt and a matching cap.

Alia and Ranbir's New York holiday

Earlier this week, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were spotted at the US Open 2023 for a final showdown between Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka. Meanwhile, a clip featuring the Saawariya actor photobombing Hollywood actress Madelyn Cline with a peace sign gained traction online.

Not just this, the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actress also gave a sneak-peak into her 'Schedule on day-off' as she relaxed in a pool. She shared a glimpse of herself from the pool and captioned the video, “DND (Do not disturb)” at Mandarin Oriental, New York. In the video, Alia wore a pink swimsuit. She further wrote, “That's it. That's my schedule.”

The Brahmastra stars were also spotted alongside Ranbir's sister-actress Karisma Kapoor in New York. As visible in the pictures shared by the Hero No. 1 actress, the three can be seen enjoying 'New York Night Out'. Karisma wore a blue shirt and black blazer while Alia sported a black top. Ranbir, in contrast, was seen in an all-black look comprising a beanie and a leather jacket.

Professionally, Alia Bhatt won the Best Actor award (Female) at the 69th National Film Awards for her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi.

The actress is currently enjoying the success of Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Bhatt recently made her Hollywood debut with Netflix’s Heart Of Stone alongside Gal Gadot. She will next be seen in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra.

Alia also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next Baiju Bawra with Ranveer Singh in her bag.

Ranbir Kapoor will be appearing next in the action-drama, Animal, alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. The film will enter theatres on 1 December. He was last seen in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar opposite Shraddha Kapoor.

Rashid Khan, on the other hand, is an all-rounder from Afghanistan. He also has an Indian connection in the sense that he represented Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League. In addition, he won the 2022 IPL title with GT. At 24, the Afghan superstar holds a record of over 550 wickets in T20 format.
