13 Reasons Why season 2 might be streaming on a computer near you soon

There had been talks about how to extend the premise beyond Season 1.The series follows teenager Clay Jensen (Dylan Minnette) as he returns home from school to find a mysterious box with his name on it lying on his porch. Inside he discovers cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker ( Katherine Langford) — his classmate and crush — who tragically committed suicide two weeks earlier.On tape, Hannah explains that there are thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. Will Clay be one of them? If he listens, he'll find out how and why he made the list.The series has sparked debate following its arrival on the streaming service last month.Mental health organisations criticised its inclusion of a graphic suicide while officials at some schools in the US have sent out letters to parents warning them about the show's content. New Zealand has ruled that teens cannot watch the series unless they are supervised by an adult.The show's writer, Nic Sheff, penned an open letter in response to the negative publicity explaining the decision to show Baker's suicide in graphic detail.
