Volvo has an interesting solution for all its chauffeur-driven customers " a new concept revealed at the Shanghai Auto Show called The XC90 Lounge Console does away with the front passenger’s seat. The space liberated thus is utilised as a work table instead.

Volvo also gives its rear-seat passengers an opportunity to relax, unwind and kick off their shoes. Quite literally actually. Under a cushioned leg rest for the backseat occupants, is a little area to keep shoes until the drive’s over. The table also rotates 90 degrees and opens up into a 17-inch screen so one can watch movies and videos on the go. There’s also an illuminated vanity mirror along with storage spaces for jewellery and accessories incorporated into the set-up.
