To cope with the aftermath of the Volkswagen emission scandal, Volkswagen AG is likely to discontinue production of over 40 models. According to a report published by German newspaper Handelsblatt, the exact number of models that will be discontinued hasn’t been decided yet. As of now, Volkswagen AG’s product line-up includes over 300 models across its multiple brands.
