Suzuki unveils 2026 Burgman with upgraded TFT display and enhanced features

Suzuki has given its Maxxi-style scooter a styling refresh for the 2026 model year. The new Burgman will be available in two variants: Ride Connect and Ride Connect TFT edition, priced at Rs 1,04,944 and Rs 1,13,220. The new scooter brings cosmetic tweaks, feature additions, and mechanical revisions.

Sharper Design, Same Maxi DNA

A noticeable design update comes in the form of a redesigned fascia. The scooter now has a split LED headlight setup with integrated DRLs, giving it a more aggressive and modern look. The taillight design has been updated as well, featuring a U-shaped unit. The side panels have been changed too, giving the scooter an unmistakable maxi scooter stance.

While the 124 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine remains similar to the outgoing version, Suzuki has made minor tweaks to improve its output. The scooter now produces 8.42 Ps of power at 6,500 rpm and 10.25 Nm of torque at 5,250 rpm. On paper, the power figure has increased by 0.2 Ps, and the torque has gone up by 0.2 Nm. The scooter continues with telescopic suspension up front and a monoshock at the rear.

The scooter has now upgraded from the earlier 12-inch front and 10-inch rear setup to 12-inch wheels at both ends. The braking system remains unchanged, with a disc up front and a drum at the rear.

New TFT Screen

The top-spec version now gets a 4.2-inch TFT display, similar to the Suzuki Access 125 and Suzuki E-Access. Other additions include keyless ignition, an external fuel filler cap, and cubby holes on the apron. The standard Ride Connect variant will be available in Pearl Grace White, Metallic Mat Stellar Blue, Metallic Royal Bronze, Metallic Mat Black, and Pearl Amat Shadow Green. The TFT variant replaces the green shade with Metallic Mat Platinum Silver.
