Spied: 2018 Toyota Camry spotted testing in the US

The new Camry will ride on Toyota’s TNGA modular platform that also underpins the 2016 Prius

The 2018 Toyota Camry was recently snapped testing in the US. While the test car is heavily camouflaged, we can spot a few design cues that hint that a sportier (TRD) variant may also be in the offing.

The front end looks sharper and angular that the current Camry, with a new twin-slat grille. The projector type headlamps are new and sleeker than the ones on the previous car. The air-dams in the lower half of the bumper are quite large and overall, from what we can make out, the next-generation Camry will sport a bold face.
