Skoda Unveils 2026 Kushaq with New Updates: Here’s What’s Changed

Skoda’s refreshed Kushaq gets a facelift with upgraded features, expanded variants, new transmission options, and over 40 safety features while retaining its turbo petrol engines.

Skoda has refreshed its Kushaq with a bunch of new updates and a facelift to ensure it is able to retain its place against new burgeoning competitors. The new update ensures a wider variant availability across the range. The new update ensures that transmission options expand accessibility across price points. Refreshed Kushaq focuses has improved on safety, comfort, and convenience while retaining its existing Turbo petrol engines.

With multiple additions across the range, buyers will now get a more feature-loaded SUV, which is in increasing demand right now.

Price and Variant Breakdown

The price of the facelifted Kushaq begins at Rs 10.69 lakh ex-showroom with the 1.0 TSI manual version, while the range-topping 1.5 TSI DSG Monte Carlo variant is available at a price of Rs 18.99 lakh. The lineup comprises variants such as Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo. Prices would depend upon the engine choice and transmission.

Here’s What’s New in the 2026 Kushaq

The facelift model has been updated at the front and rear, along with the addition of standard features to the model. Notable revisions include the addition of LED lighting, electric sunroof, and Climatronic air conditioning, as well as the infotainment system; all of these have been made standard on the model.

Now the lower trims will be available with a segment-first eight-speed torque converter automatic. The higher variants will be equipped with massage functions as well.

Powertrain and Transmission Options

The Kushaq is still available with the same turbo petrol engines. The 1.0-litre TSI unit churns out 114 hp and 178 Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre TSI unit delivers 147.5 hp and 250 Nm of peak torque. Users can choose between a six-speed manual, the new eight-speed automatic, and a seven-speed DSG that comes with the 1.5-litre TSI.

Safety Features

Skoda has highlighted that with the new update, Kushaq now has more than 40 safety features. Some of the updates in this category include rain-sensing wipers, rear wiper, defogger, and auto-dimming IRVM. High-end variants get a panoramic sunroof and ventilated seats. Instead of mechanical updates, Skoda has targeted value-added features and automatic options, especially at lower price points.
