Limited edition Ducati Diavel Diesel launched in India at Rs 19.92 lakh

First showcased at the Milan Men's Fashion Week 2017, the Ducati Diavel was also announced with a new line of apparel that matches the motorbike. The motorcycle was a collaboration between Ducati Design Center and fashion brand Diesel with an end result that looks like a post-apocalyptic motorcycle from a Mad Max movie. To our surprise, Ducati India launched the limited edition cruiser in the country and priced the same at Rs 19.92 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)."A perfect amalgamation of Ducati's signature design, safety and performance and Diesel's craftsmanship and style, the Diavel Diesel is unique in every sense" said Ducati India Managing Director Ravi Avalur.This is not the first time that the two Italian brands had come together. In the past, Diesel and Ducati had joined hands to announce a Ducati Monster Diesel. This time around, the Italian motorcycle marque has produced just 666 examples for its customers globally.So yes, every single unit that comes to India will be accounted for with a metal numbering plate that reveals the production number. The detailing on the motorcycles panels and tank is deliberately unrefined and breath-taking. It's also at odds with Ducati's "current day" sports bikes that come with precision welding and well-polished frames. Indeed this is Ducati's take on a post-apocalyptic future, so the design language is unique.The engine is a Ducati Testastretta 11° Dual Spark that provides 162 HP of power and 130 Nm of torque. It is a development of the championship winning Ducati Corse engines, and can be micromanaged with the Ride-by-Wire management system. There are three riding modes that adjust the power, engine output and traction control. Riders can switch between engine modes on the fly, immediately affecting the motorbike's ride, handling and performance.The cruiser style bike claims to offer a comfortable ride with a seat that is just 770 mm off the ground. The bike is equipped with the Ducati Safety Pack (DSP).
