Honda BR-V accumulates 10,000 bookings in India

Launched on May 5, the latest entrant to the compact SUV segment is surely making an impact

Honda Car India launched its premium compact SUV BR-V on May 5 and it has already surpassed 10,000 bookings. Honda claims that the compact SUV segment grew by more than 40 per cent last year and evolving customer traits and increasing aspirations has led to their success.

The Honda BR-V comes in both diesel and petrol avatars. The two engine options are a 1.5-litre petrol which produces 119PS and 145Nm and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel which produces 100PS and 200Nm, both mated to a six speed manual gearbox. There is also a CVT with paddle...
