Honda Activa is India's best selling two-wheeler in March 2015
In terms of sales the scooter gained 30 per cent in sales volumes
Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India Private Limited (HMSI) has announced that its Activa is India’s number one selling two wheeler model in March 2015. The Japanese company stated that the automatic scooter was the only two-wheeler to cross the two lakh units mark in March 2015.
In terms of sales, the scooter gained 30 per cent in sales volumes, which is over 5 lakh additional units. HMSI sells three scooters with the Activa badge - the 3G, i and 125.
Speaking about the achievement, Yadvinder S. Guleria- senior vice president, sales & marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd said, “This achievement is more significant since Activa has displaced a motorcycle for the numero uno position in the Indian two-wheeler industry.
