GM recalls 1.55 lakh cars to fix keyless entry issue

The company will recall all Chevrolet Beats, Enjoys and Sparks made between 2007 and 2014 that are fitted with this feature

General Motors India, will recall 1.55 lakh cars to fix a wiring problem relating to the remote keyless entry feature that could malfunction and lock the customer out. This is one of India’s largest recalls and is the second time that GM is making one of this scale.1.14 lakh Taveras were recalled in 2013 due to problems linked to emission standards and other regulatory specifications.

GM stated that it will recall all Chevrolet Beats, Enjoys and Sparks manufactured between 2007 and 2014 and fitted with the keyless entry feature.
