GM India recalls 22,000 Cruze cars to fix stalling issue

The repairs will take no longer than an hour to complete and the owners of affected cars will be contacted

General Motors India has issued a recall for its Chevrolet Cruze sedan, manufactured between 2009 and 2011. This puts the number at around 22,000 cars from all across the country, and has affected both the manual and automatic transmission models. The recall has been issued to fix stalling at low speeds due to loss of ignition. Chevrolet says that the repairs will take no longer than an hour to complete and the owners of affected cars will be contacted. Chevrolet also stated that the defect would be fixed at no extra charge.
