The upcoming car was showcased at the Auto Expo 2016 and is expected to be launched in 2017. While a spy shot was leaked earlier showing the front of the car, a recent spy photo gives us an idea of it will look from the back. Thanks to the leaked photo, we can see the U-shaped tail lamps of the car.According to reports, Tata has been testing the Nexon SUV for quite a while now. We can't see much from the spy shot as most of the car is under camouflage. As per reports however, the U-shaped position strips will by powered by LEDs, while the brake lights will be regular bulbs located in a triangular section of the tail-lamp. The lamps for lighting the registration plate area also seem to be powered by LEDs. The two tail-lamps are connected by a colour-painted panel that contrasts with the exterior colour in top-end variants.Expect the top-end Tata Nexon variants to get projector headlights, a ceramic side finish, contrast roof, 16-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, fog-lamps and gloss black finish for the wide grille. According to design chief Pratap Bose, it draws inspiration from Tata’s ‘IMPACT’ design language.[caption id="attachment_344169" align="aligncenter" width="640"]Image Credit: Crankit.in Image Credit: Crankit.in[/caption]It will be built on the heavily-modified Tata X1 platform of the Indica and is likely to get a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine.
