Ford Mustang production halted to adjust inventory
Production will resume from October 17, 2016
Ford has temporarily halted the production of the Mustang at the company’s Flat Rock assembly plant in Michigan. The reason is believed to be an adjustment in the inventory numbers. The production in the Michigan plant has been halted between October 10-17, 2016.
The Ford Mustang faces strong competition from the Chevrolet Camaro and this is the first time in two years that the latter has taken a lead over the Mustang. The other reason for the production halt is believed to be the drop in sales numbers of the Mustang that was reported...
