Fiat has announced a special limited edition of its compact car Fiat 500 called the 500-60th to mark and celebrate its 60th anniversary.

Fiat has announced a special, limited edition of its compact car, the Fiat 500. It's unimaginatively called the 500-60th to mark and celebrate the Fiat 500's 60th anniversary.The Fiat 500-60th is inspired from the original 500 and will feature a grey fabric roof and Dolcevita dual-tone paint job, chrome finished ORVMs and 16-inch alloy wheels with a white diamond finish.
On the inside you get a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a multi-spoke steering wheel and comfort features including automatic climate control, rain and dusk sensors, cruise control and a rear parking sensor. It will be offered in three petrol engines including a 1.2-litre engine with 69 bhp, a 0.9-litre TwinAir engine churning out 85 bhp and a 0.9-litre TwinAir engine that will produce 105 bhp.
According to the company it has sold more than 6 million Fiat 500s globally in the past 60 years. The new Fiat 500-60th limited edition will be manufactured and sold in the UK and only 250 units will be made. Out of these, the first 60 cars will get a limited edition plate and authentication certificate. The deliveries of the Fiat 500-60th will commence from 4 July in the UK.
