Oppo Find X9 Ultra, Find X9s launched in India with flagship-like features, price starts at Rs 79,999

OPPO has launched the Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Oppo Find X9s in India, expanding its flagship smartphone portfolio in the country. The two devices join the existing Find X9 and Find X9 Pro lineup that debuted earlier this year.

While the Find X9s is aimed at users looking for premium features without crossing into ultra-flagship pricing territory, the Find X9 Ultra arrives as Oppo’s most powerful slab-style Android phone yet. The smartphone combines top-end camera hardware, Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset and one of the biggest batteries currently available in a premium smartphone.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra, Find X9s: Price and availability

The Oppo Find X9 Ultra has been launched in India at Rs 1,69,999 for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. With eligible bank card offers, the effective price drops to Rs 1,36,999.

Meanwhile, the Oppo Find X9s starts at Rs 79,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version, while the 512GB model is expected to cost Rs 89,999. Oppo says buyers using select bank offers can purchase the Find X9s at an effective price of Rs 62,199.

The smartphones will be available through major online and offline retail channels across India. Both devices will officially go on sale in India from May 28.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra: Top specs and features

The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is clearly positioned as the headline device in the lineup. It features a 6.82-inch QHD+ flexible AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,800 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

Photography is one of the biggest highlights of the phone. Oppo has included a Hasselblad-backed quad rear camera system consisting of a 200-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilisation, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 200-megapixel telephoto sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-telephoto camera.

The ultra-telephoto sensor supports up to 10x optical zoom and 120x digital zoom. Oppo has also included Hasselblad imaging features and XPAN mode for more cinematic photography experiences.

The handset supports 8K video recording at 30fps, Dolby Vision recording and 4K capture at up to 120fps.

Another major highlight is the massive 7,050mAh silicon-carbon battery, paired with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.

The device additionally includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC and a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.

Oppo Find X9s: Top specs and features

The Oppo Find X9s brings several premium features from the flagship lineup at a comparatively lower price point.

The smartphone sports a 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and follows a flat-edge design language with a square-shaped rear camera module.

Unlike the Ultra model, the Find X9s is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s chipset. The device comes paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.

Oppo has equipped the handset with a large 7,025mAh battery supporting 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. However, wireless charging support is missing on this model.

For cameras, the Find X9s features a Hasselblad-backed triple 50-megapixel rear camera setup, along with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

The phone runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 and will be available in Midnight Grey, Sunset Orange and Lavender Sky colour options.

On paper, the Find X9s appears positioned as a rival to the Vivo X300 FE, with Oppo focusing heavily on battery life and camera capabilities in the premium segment.
