OnePlus Nord 6 to launch tomorrow: Price, specs and everything else you must know
OnePlus Nord 6 is set to launch in India tomorrow. Ahead of the launch, the company has unveiled most of its upcoming specs and upgrade. Let's take a look at the upcoming mid-range segment smartphone.

OnePlus is all set to take the wraps off its latest mid-range smartphone, the OnePlus Nord 6, in India tomorrow. Ahead of the official launch, the company has already revealed a substantial amount of information, offering a clear picture of what buyers can expect from the upcoming device.
The launch event is scheduled for April 7, with the phone confirmed to be available via Amazon. With a strong focus on performance, durability and artificial intelligence-driven features, the Nord 6 appears positioned to raise the bar in the premium mid-range category.
OnePlus Nord 6 price expectations
While OnePlus has yet to officially announce pricing, industry expectations suggest that the Nord 6 will sit in the Rs 35,000 to Rs 40,000 bracket. This would place it firmly in the premium mid-range segment, where competition is intensifying.
The device is likely to go up against rivals such as the Nothing Phone 4a, Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, and Poco X8 Pro. However, ongoing memory chip shortages could lead to a slight price increase compared to its predecessor, reflecting broader industry trends.
OnePlus Nord 6 specs revealed
OnePlus has confirmed that the Nord 6 will feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, signalling a strong push towards smoother visuals. The panel is expected to deliver up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness and 1,800 nits in High Brightness Mode, making it suitable for outdoor use. Protection comes in the form of Crystal Guard Glass, which the company claims rivals flagship-grade durability.
Durability is a standout feature this year. The Nord 6 carries IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, indicating resistance not just to dust and water immersion but also to high-pressure water jets. This marks a notable upgrade from the previous generation.
Under the hood, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. It will also include a dedicated G2 Wi-Fi chip, designed to enhance connectivity in crowded network environments and potentially deliver faster data speeds, particularly for users on Reliance Jio networks.
In terms of cameras, the Nord 6 will feature a 50MP Sony primary sensor with ‘Dual Axis’ optical image stabilisation, alongside a 32MP front-facing camera. While additional rear camera details remain under wraps, the focus appears to be on stability and clarity.
The device will run on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. OnePlus is also emphasising AI capabilities, with features such as AI Portrait Glow, AI Eraser, AI Unblur and AI Perfect Shot built into the interface.
Perhaps the most eye-catching specification is the massive 9,000mAh battery, which could set a new benchmark in this segment. Charging details, however, are yet to be disclosed.
With a combination of premium features and competitive positioning, the Nord 6 is shaping up to be one of the most closely watched smartphone launches this season.
