OnePlus 15T confirmed to launch on March 24 in China
OnePlus 15T launch set for March 24 in China, featuring Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, 165Hz display, and a massive 7,500mAh battery with fast charging support.

OnePlus has officially revealed the launch date of its upcoming compact mid-flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 15T.
After weeks of speculation and leaks, the OnePlus 15T is now set to debut in China on March 24, giving enthusiasts a closer look at what the company describes as a powerful yet compact offering.
The smartphone is already available for pre-booking in China, hinting at multiple configurations and design options. With a focus on performance, gaming, and battery life, the OnePlus 15T appears to be positioned as a smaller alternative to its flagship lineup without compromising on core specifications.
OnePlus 15T launch date, variants and colours
The OnePlus 15T will be unveiled at 7pm Beijing Time (4:30pm IST), according to details shared on the company’s official Chinese website. Pre-orders are currently live via the Oppo Shop platform, with early buyers set to receive complimentary wireless earphones valued at CNY 299.
The handset will be available in five variants, ranging from 12GB RAM and 256GB storage to a top-tier 16GB RAM and 1TB storage variant. This wide selection suggests OnePlus is targeting both mainstream users and power users who demand higher storage and performance.
In terms of design, the OnePlus 15T will be offered in three colour options, Pure Cocoa, Relaxing Matcha, and Healing White Chocolate. Reports suggest that the darker variants may feature an AG frosted glass finish to reduce fingerprints while maintaining a matte texture.
Meanwhile, the white variant is expected to use a specialised micro-arc oxidation process for a seamless finish across the frame and rear panel.
OnePlus 15T specifications, chipset and battery
On the hardware front, OnePlus has confirmed that the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, the same processor found in the flagship OnePlus 15.
The phone is also expected to include an advanced gaming engine capable of supporting up to 165fps gameplay, along with a tri-chip system aimed at improving overall performance.
The OnePlus 15T will feature a 6.32-inch flat display with a 165Hz refresh rate, signalling a strong focus on smooth visuals, particularly for gaming. The camera system is tipped to include a LUMO imaging setup with 3.5x optical zoom.
Durability is another highlight, with the handset confirmed to carry IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for water and dust resistance.
Battery life could be a major differentiator. The smartphone is set to pack a large 7,500mAh battery, supported by 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. It will also include bypass charging, allowing users to power the device directly during intensive tasks like gaming.
