Nvidia and LG expand partnership for humanoid robot development and AI data centres
Nvidia and LG Group have expanded their partnership to develop humanoid robots, AI factories, and next-generation data centres powered by advanced AI technologies

Nvidia has expanded its collaboration with South Korea's LG Group to accelerate the development of humanoid robots and next-generation data centres. The announcement follows a meeting between Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo in Seoul, where the companies discussed broadening cooperation across robotics, artificial intelligence infrastructure, manufacturing, and mobility.
The partnership will also extend to the design and development of future data centres. As part of the collaboration, Nvidia and LG are already working on what they describe as a next-generation AI factory. The initiative is expected to help both companies deploy AI technologies across areas such as robotics, autonomous driving, data centres, and GPU cloud services.
The collaboration will combine Nvidia's full-stack AI platform with LG's strengths in manufacturing, consumer electronics, and smart systems. Together, the companies plan to create an integrated workflow that connects AI model development, robot training, simulation, synthetic data generation, and real-world deployment.
To advance its robotics ambitions, LG Electronics plans to leverage Nvidia's Isaac simulation and robotics framework to develop and test machines in virtual environments before deploying them in real-world settings. The two companies are also exploring the development of humanoid and modular robots powered by Nvidia's AI models.
LG Innotek is expected to supply robotics components, while LG CNS will integrate Nvidia's technologies into industrial applications, including manufacturing and logistics platforms. Through this partnership, the companies aim to move beyond traditional AI computing and bring AI-powered robotics and industrial automation into real-world applications.
