Nokia event on 16 Dec: Lumia 1520 and 1320 launch expected

Nokia is hosting a special event on 16 December in New Delhi and it is likely that the company will launch the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320 devices at the event. The company has already sent out media invites for the event.Nokia had showcased its Lumia 1520 and 1320 devices at the Nokia World event in Dubai in October. The company had also launched its Lumia 2520 Windows RT tablet at the event, though it's not clear if this device will also launch in India.The Lumia 1520 is the first phablet from Nokia and has a 6-inch screen with a full HD (1920x1080 pixels) resolution . Other features include: 20 MP rear camera, PureView with Dual LED flash. It also has a 1.2 MP camera on the front panel for video calls. The phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.2 Ghz and 2 GB of RAM. It comes with 32 GB memory space, a microSD card slot with an upper limit of 64 GB. It has a 3400 mAh battery. Nokia is promising 27.4 hours of maximum talk time on 2G and 25.1 hours of talktime on 3G.[caption id="attachment_1284229" align="alignleft" width="380"]

Nokia is also offering 7 GB free Sky Drive cloud storage space free with the phone.The price of the phone is $749 without taxes, which is around Rs 46,000 at present conversion rates. Although the phone is likely to be priced higher than this when it launches in India.The Lumia 1320 is also a six-inch screen device with an HD screen at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone has 5 megapixel with LED flash. It has 0.3 mp VGA camera on the front. The smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor which is clocked at 1.7 GHz.
