LG launches Optimus L9 with Android 4.0
For Android fans, here's another Ice-Cream Sandwich smartphone that has been launched. LG's new Optimus L9 comes with the latest Android OS.

The great thing about being an Android fan in India is that there is never a shortage of phones to choose from! New smartphones using the OS are launched seemingly every week, and now the latest entrant into this increasingly crowded market is LG's new Optimus L9 that comes with Android 4.0, aka Ice Cream Sandwich.The smartphone which is 9.1mm thick with a slim metallic streak, has a 4.7-inch IPS display and a 2,150mAh SiO+ battery. Apart from Ice Cream Sandwich, the device comes with a 1GHz dual-core processor with 11GB DDR2 RAM. It also contains a 5 megapixel rear camera and a front-end VGA camera.According to Tech2.in, the smartphone also has other key features such as the QTranslator and My Style Keypad function.[caption id="attachment_434949" align="alignleft" width="380"]
The LG Optimus 9.[/caption]The QTranslator function translates complete entire sentences and phrases using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology. It can do so for from nearly 44 foreign languages to 64 user languages.The MyStyleKeypad function will adjust your touch-screen keyboard according to which hand you're using to text.
