India launch: Galaxy Note 3 priced at Rs 49,990, Galaxy Gear at Rs 22,990
Samsung has launched its new smartphone the Galaxy Note 3 for a whopping Rs 49,990 in India, while the Galaxy Gear smartwatch is priced at Rs 22,990.

It will be available in 32GB version in India, along with an additional microSD card slot. Samsung is not launching the 64 GB version in India. It has 3GB RAM, a 13 megapixel rear camera with Smart Stabilization and high CRI LED flash.The device supports the latest LTE technologies, which the company claims, supports the greatest number of multiple frequencies. India version does not have 4G support as it comes with the Octa-core processor. The processor has eight cores (1.9GHz Quad + 1.3GHz Quad). It runs Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean).As far as the Galaxy Gear is concerned it has a 1.63 inch Super AMOLED display with 320 x 320 pixel resolution. The processor is 800 MHz and the smartwatch comes with 512 MB RAM and 4GB memory space. It has a 1.9 megapixel camera on the strap. The camera has BSI Sensor, Auto Focus and the ability to record and shoot videos as well.It has two microphones, ( 1 noise cancelling) and a speaker as well. The watch supports Bluetooth 4.0 and sensors on the watch are accelerometer and gyroscope. In terms of dimensions the watch is 36.8 x 56.6 x 11.1 mm and weighs 73.8g. It has a Li-ion 315mAh battery.
