HTC launches mid-range smartphones Desire 601 and 300

HTC has announced two new smartphones. The HTC Desire 601 and the HTC Desire 300 will be available in select markets from October onwards.HTC Desire 601 is a mid-range phone offering a 4.5-inch qHD display and is powered by 1.4GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor. HTC Desire 601 will come with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean mobile operating system (OS) pre-installed. On connectivity front, it offers LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.Sense features include HTC Blinkfeed, Zoe camera suite and BoomSound and dual frontal stereo speakers.HTC Desire 300 is a low-end phone with 4.3-inch WVGA display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor.The phone comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and 1650 mAh battery. Connectivity options include 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.
