Google Pixel 11 series prices leak ahead of August 12 debut

Google's next flagship smartphone family could arrive with a significant shift in pricing and storage strategy if a new leak proves accurate. Ahead of the company's Made by Google event on August 12, details surrounding the Pixel 11 range suggest buyers may have to pay more for several models, although they could receive double the base storage in return.

The latest information, first reported by Dealabs in collaboration with tipster BillBil-Kun, points to four devices making up this year's lineup: the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Alongside revised prices, the report also outlines storage configurations and colour choices expected across the range.

The biggest change appears to be Google's reported decision to remove the 128GB entry-level option. If the leak is accurate, every Pixel 11 model would begin with 256GB of internal storage, aligning the series with a growing trend among premium smartphone makers that are increasing base storage while raising retail prices.

Pixel 11 lineup could become more expensive

Among the four devices, the standard Pixel 11 is tipped to see one of the biggest pricing changes. The handset is expected to start at EUR 999 (around Rs 1.08 lakh) with 256GB of storage, compared with the Pixel 10, which launched at EUR 899 for its 128GB version. A higher-capacity 512GB model is also expected, carrying a reported price of EUR 1,129 (around Rs 1.23 lakh).

The Pixel 11 Pro, however, may avoid a price hike. According to the leak, it will continue to start at EUR 1,199 (around Rs 1.3 lakh) with 256GB of storage. Buyers could also have the option of 512GB and 1TB variants, expected to cost EUR 1,329 (around Rs 1.45 lakh) and EUR 1,589 (around Rs 1.73 lakh), respectively.

The larger Pixel 11 Pro XL is tipped to become EUR 100 more expensive than its predecessor. The report claims pricing will begin at EUR 1,399 (around Rs 1.52 lakh) for the 256GB model, while the 512GB and 1TB versions could be priced at EUR 1,529 (around Rs 1.66 lakh) and EUR 1,789 (around Rs 1.95 lakh).

Google's foldable offering is also expected to command a higher premium. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is tipped to start at EUR 1,999 (around Rs 2.17 lakh) for the 256GB variant, with 512GB and 1TB options reportedly costing EUR 2,129 (around Rs 2.3 lakh) and EUR 2,389 (around Rs 2.6 lakh).

New finishes and a stronger premium push

The leak also sheds light on the colour palette Google may introduce this year. The standard Pixel 11 is expected to be available in Fuchsia, Light Sterling, Midnight Haze and Moss. Meanwhile, the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL are tipped to launch in Dune, Light Fog, Midnight Haze and Pine. Buyers interested in the Pixel 11 Pro Fold may have two choices—Midnight Haze and Pine. The report further suggests that 1TB storage variants could be offered exclusively in the Midnight Haze finish.

If Google follows this approach, the Pixel 11 family would move further into the premium flagship segment by combining larger default storage capacities with higher asking prices. Apple has recently adopted a similar strategy with its iPhone 17 lineup, signalling a broader industry move towards reducing lower-capacity variants while positioning flagship devices at higher price points.

For buyers, the reported pricing may make the official launch event worth watching closely. Google has often introduced promotional offers in select markets, which could soften any increase. At the same time, the arrival of the Pixel 11 series may also lead to price reductions on the outgoing Pixel 10 range, giving consumers another option in the flagship market.
