India users experience Gmail outage with 502 error

Once again in less than a month Google’s Gmail service appears to be down in India with users getting the 502 errors.

Update: Gmail appears to be back up for now. Tell us if you are still experiencing an issue with Gmail.Once again in less than a month Google’s Gmail service appears to be down in India with users getting 502 errors. Gmail was down three times last month on 2, 8 and 13 May. On 8 May, even Google’s Play Store had suffered an outage.Downrightnow indicates that user reports are saying Gmail is down. The Google Apps Statusboard however does not currently show a service outage or disruption for the mail service.The message on the Gmail page said, “502. That’s an error. The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request. Please try again in 30 seconds. That’s all we know.”[caption id="attachment_864967" align="alignleft" width="380"]
