Apple introduces MacBook Neo, a new budget laptop to take on your basics
The low-budget Apple MacBook is finally here, names MacBook Neo. At Rs 64,900, the device runs on A18 Pro chipset and aims to bridge the gap between a MacBook Pro and an iPad.

Apple launches MacBook Neo, its first low-budget laptop. At Rs 64,900, the MacBook Neo comes at the same price as the iPhone 17e and iPad Air M4.
This comes after the Cupertino company has unveiled the iPhone 17e, iPad Air M4, MacBook Air M5 and MacBook Pro with M5, M5 Pro and M5 Max. While the MacBook Air and Pro belongs a much higher price, the MacBook Neo aims to offer an experience between an iPad and a MacBook.

Apple MacBook Neo: Price and availability
The MacBook Neo is available in four colour options: Silver, Blush, Citrus, and Indigo, adding a vibrant touch to Apple’s laptop lineup.
The 256GB variant with a Magic Keyboard is priced at Rs 69,900, while the 512GB model with Touch ID costs Rs 79,900. Both models are offered with instant cashback and No Cost EMI options, starting from Rs 11,150 per month.
Pre-bookings for the MacBook Neo open today, with sales beginning on March 11 through Apple’s online store, authorised retailers, and select Apple Premium Resellers across India.
Apple MacBook Neo: Top specs
Design and display: MacBook Neo sports a durable recycled aluminium body made with 60 per cent recycled content — the highest in any Apple product to date.
It features a 13-inch Liquid Retina display with 500 nits of brightness for vivid colours and sharp details. Select models include Touch ID for quick, secure sign-ins and app downloads.
Audio: The MacBook Neo features two side-firing speakers, which promises to deliver immersive sound, and dual microphones isolate your voice for clear, natural audio during calls and recordings.
Connectivity: MacBook Neo includes two USB-C ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack for charging, data transfer, and connecting accessories.

Chipset: Powered by Apple’s A18 Pro chip, the same processor used in the iPhone 16 Pro, the MacBook Neo handles everyday apps and AI-driven tasks with ease, balancing performance and energy efficiency.
Battery: Apple claims up to 16 hours of battery life on a single charge.
