Allianz's travel insurance division will cut up to 1,800 jobs as it expands the use of artificial intelligence, CEO Tomas Kunzmann confirmed to Reuters.
The workforce reduction, expected to be carried out through voluntary severance packages, early retirement schemes and similar measures, will affect 1,500 to 1,800 positions across Europe, Allianz Partners CEO Tomas Kunzmann said at an event in Munich on Tuesday evening.
