There's plenty of sporting action to look forward to over the weekend, especially with the 17th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) underway and the race to the title getting hotter than ever in the European football leagues.

The T20 carnival that is the IPL witnesses its second set of weekend double-headers take place while European football will have some of its biggest clubs in action, with defending Premier League champions Manchester City set to take on leaders Arsenal in what could be a title-deciding clash on Sunday.

Madrid Spain Masters (BWF TV): The Madrid Spain Masters is currently underway in the Spanish capital, with the semi-finals and the final set to take place over the weekend.

The mixed doubles pair of B Sumeeth Reddy and Sikki Reddy have qualified for the semi-finals following their 14-21, 21-11, 21-17 victory over Indonesia’s Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto and Lisa Ayu Kusumawati.
