Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson might have a problem with foot-in-mouth disease

Host of the extremely popular Top Gear show, Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended by the BBC after a dramatic incident with his producer.Clarkson reportedly threw a punch at his producer after he was offered a cold meat platter instead of a steak, reports the Independent.[caption id="attachment_2147291" align="alignleft" width="380"] Reuters image[/caption]It is the latest in a string of incidents surrounding the outspoken and popular presenter. Clarkson who was already on a final warning from the BBC following accusations of racism and it is believed that Danny Cohen, the BBC’s director of television, ordered the suspension, after receiving reports of the incident.The BBC director had previously warned Clarkson that “no one person is bigger than the BBC”. He said, “the problem is that television executives have got it into their heads that if one presenter on a show is a blonde-haired, blue-eyed heterosexual boy, the other must be a black Muslim lesbian.”2. Clarkson on MexicansAccording to the Guardian, 2011 the BBC was forced to apologise to the Mexican ambassador over remarks made in an episode of Top Gear. In the episode itself, Clarkson predicted they would not get complaints because “at the Mexican embassy, the ambassador is going to be sitting there with a remote control like this [snores]. They won’t complain, it’s fine”.He also went on to add that, "Mexican cars are just going to be lazy, feckless, flatulent, overweight, leaning against a fence asleep looking at a cactus with a blanket with a hole in the middle on as a coat."3. One Twitter user wrote: "@jeremyclarkson its racist man! Casual racism! You should be ashamed of yourself ". Clarkson replied: "Why is it racist to name our amazingly brilliant dog after a footballer?"5. The N wordJeremy Clarkson's most controversial flub however was in May 2014, the Mirror claimed Clarkson had mumbled “catch a n##### by his toe” when reciting the nursery rhyme “eeny, meeny, miny, mo” in unaired Top Gear footage. Clarkson denied doing so, saying he had tried his hardest not to make the remark or use the word and hadn’t done so but his efforts “obviously weren’t good enough”.
