The national selection trails for 17 disciplines will be held over two days in eight National Centre of Excellence across the country starting 9 February, the Sports Authority of India said on Saturday.
New Delhi: The national selection trails for 17 disciplines of athletics will be held over two days in eight National Centre of Excellence across the country starting on 9 February, the Sports Authority of India (SAI) said on Saturday.The selection trails are open to both boys and girls between the age group of 16 to 21 years.The eight NCoEs are Bhopal (middle distance, 17-18 February), Patiala (sprints, horizontal jumps, throws and combined events, 14-15 February), Sonipat (sprints, throws, combined events & race walk, 17-18 February), Trivandrum (sprints, jumps, middle distance, 14-15 February), Bangalore (sprints, jumps, middle distance and racewalk, 17-18 Feb).Lucknow (middle distance, long distance, 9 -10 February), Imphal (long distance, walk, 14-15 February), Kolkata (sprints and combined events, 17-18 February) are the other centres which will host the trials.Read all the Latest News, Trending News, Cricket News, Bollywood News,India News and Entertainment News here.
