As the Indian men's hockey team is all set to kick off their campaign at the FIH Pro League 2023-24, here is all you need to know about the tournament.

With direct qualification for the 2026 World Cup up for grabs, the Indian men’s hockey team will feature in the FIH Pro League 2023-24 campaign in Bhubaneswar scheduled to start from February 10. In their campaign opener, India will be up against Spain on February 10. The 24-member Indian men’s hockey team, which will take part in the Bhubaneswar and Rourkela legs of the FIH Pro League 2023-24, was announced by Hockey India earlier this month. The Indian team will be led by Harmanpreet Singh. The hosts will be up against Ireland, the Netherlands, Spain, and Australia twice across both legs.The Bhubaneswar leg of the competition will start on February 10 and come to an end on February 16. Following the completion of the Bhubaneswar leg, the tournament will move to Rourkela. The next segment of the competition will start on February 19. In the previous FIH Pro League season, the Indian men’s team failed to register a podium finish.
