Football transfer gossip: Arsenal to pull out from Sesko race; Man United show interest in Kean
Transfer buzz is heating up ahead of the new European season with Arsenal reportedly pulling out of the race for Benjamin Sesko and Manchester United eyeing a new forward.

Transfer news is the most exciting part during this waiting period before the major European leagues kick off their new seasons. Today, we have some of the spiciest news from the football transfer world as it has been reported that Arsenal may pull out of the race to sign Benjamin Sesko, while Manchester United are also looking to buy a forward.
Let’s start with Arsenal. There's shocking news for Gunner fans as the Mirror has reported that the club could pull out of the race to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko. Arsenal have reportedly made an offer of £70m for the 22-year-old striker, but are reportedly looking to pull out due to the Slovenian making very high salary demands.
Will Arsenal sign Gyokeres?
This could force Mikel Arteta's Arsenal to return to Sporting Viktor Gyokeres, 27. They have already shown interest in the Swedish striker, but they prefer Sesko.
Even if Arsenal want Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson, 24, he cannot be an option for them. The Senegalese striker has been linked with clubs from Saudi Arabia and Europe, but Sky Sports has reported that Chelsea are not willing to sell him.
Despite signing Liam Delap from Ipswich Town, Chelsea are hoping to have two prominent strikers in the team.
Chelsea, however, may miss out on Jamie Gittens, 20, as Bayern Munich have also entered the race. They are ready to offer Borussia Dortmund £55m for the winger, as per the Kicker.

Meanwhile, Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho may fail to secure a deal with Italian giants Juventus as they are more interested in signing Francisco Conceição on a permanent deal from Porto, as per Corriere dello Sport. Conceiçao is currently on loan at Juventus and it has been reported that the club is ready to activate his £25m release clause.
Ruben Amorim's United, however, are showing interest in Fiorentina and Italy striker Moise Kean, 25, who has a €52m (£44.5m) release clause active between 1 and 15 July, as per La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Elsewhere, Fabrizio Romano has reported that Liverpool have agreed to sell 22-year-old defender Jarell Quansah to Bayer Leverkusen for £35 million, with a buy-back clause included in the deal.
