'I hate all Indian bowlers': Pakistan batter Hasan Nawaz's bitter remark leads to stinging criticism
Hasan Nawaz, 23, has made a controversial remark, saying that he has hatred for every Indian bowler and wants to hit them for runs. However, he is facing trolling for his bitter statement.

Young Pakistani batter Hasan Nawaz has made a controversial statement, saying that he has hates every Indian bowler. His video of this weird remark is going viral on social media with fans calling out the hatred in his statement.
In a recent interview with a local news channel, the 23-year-old said that matches against India bring extra motivation from his side. He went on to say that he wants to score against every Indian bowler because he hates them all.
Nawaz's hateful comment
Nawaz, who has played 25 T20Is and four ODIs for Pakistan, was asked about the bowler he really wants to hit for runs in international. He did not give any name but said that he hates all Indian bowlers and wants to hit them all.
“When playing against India, of course there’s extra motivation. You naturally feel like you want to attack their bowlers. I hate all their bowlers, to be honest. And Inshallah, if given the chance, we’ll try to do that going forward,” Nawaz said in his bizarre remark.
“It doesn’t work like that. Everything depends on the situation. For example, if the required run rate is 10, 12, or even 15 runs per over, then no matter who the bowler is, you try to score as many runs as possible," the out-of-favour star stated.
"At this level, all players are top-quality and world-class, so you prepare plans for everyone. There’s no single bowler in mind that you especially target,” he added.
In the only chance the 23-year-old has got against India, he could only score five runs. He last played for Pakistan in November 2025 and is looking to make a comeback into the side after being dropped since then.
His remarks drew criticism on social media with fans quick to remind him of his failure against India.
Nawaz is currently playing for Quetta Gladiators in PSL 2026 where he has scored 291 runs in 10 innings with a couple of half-centuries. He himself finished in top 10 of run-scoring charts in the league but his team got eliminated in the league stage with only three wins in 10 matches.
