Vivekam teaser: Investigator Ajith battles enemies, harsh weather in this spy thriller
Apart from Ajith, Vivekam also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Akshara Haasan, and Vivek Oberoi.

Fans of Ajith Kumar, better known as 'Thala' Ajith, are waiting eagerly for his upcoming spy thriller Vivekam, where he plays the role of an investigating officer. The film seems interesting because of its premise, as well as its cast, which includes Kajal Aggarwal, Akshara Haasan and Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi.Adding to the intrigue surrounding this film is its latest teaser where we see Ajith working out in a snow-covered forest, wielding guns and asserting, "Never, ever give up." There are also shots of national security offices, chase scenes and bomb blasts.[caption id="attachment_3833007" align="alignleft" width="380"]

Vivek Oberoi will most likely be essaying a negative role in the film, as he revealed to his fans, "People are confused about whether I play the hero or the villain, or I have a negative role or not. It’s a powerful parallel role."Two songs from the film, 'Surviva' and 'Thalai Viduthalai', which are hip-hop and death metal tracks respectively, have already been released. It was revealed that 'Kadhalaada', the third of the seven tracks, will be a classical number.Vivekam has been written and directed by Siruthai Siva. It tells the story of a crime that occurs in Tamil Nadu which is investigated by the lead character, and how the probe in this case takes him to Europe. It is the third collaboration between Ajith and Siva, who have previously worked together on Veeram and Vedalam, and is said to be loosely based on Liam Neeson's Taken.Made with an extravagant budget of Rs 100 crore, Vivekam will release on 10 August.Watch the teaser here:
