However, Kaur and her friend chased the guy down only to find that he had an accomplice waiting for him just around the corner. When Kaur and her friend confronted the goons, they instead of apologising or running away started beating up the girls.Media reports claim that a small crowd had flocked to witness the incident by then but none of them interfered as the girls were being physically assaulted. It was only when the girls' cry for help was heard by police stationed nearby did they come and rescued them. Kaur who suffered some minor injuries during the mugging has been taken to a nearby hospital.
