In a statement to IANS, Sanchita's brother Akash said, "He committed suicide on 14th June 2020. Why? Because Bollywood, this industry, put a lot of pressure on him, and because of that pressure, he committed suicide. In the same way, yesterday my sister also committed suicide for the same reason, that’s what I’m saying."

"Just 1 day ago, meaning yesterday, she posted an Instagram reel in which it was written— 'It’s again 14 June'. This means that 14th June is happening again and yesterday itself she also committed suicide," added Akash.

"AICWA believes that every possible angle must be thoroughly investigated before any conclusion is reached. In recent years, the Indian entertainment industry has witnessed several deaths and alleged suicide cases. In many instances, questions raised by family members, colleagues, and the public have remained unanswered. Therefore, it is essential that investigators examine all available evidence, circumstances, and possible angles in this case with complete transparency."

Sanchita spoke about her journey once in acting in one of her interviews where she revealed, "I have a huge respect for TV, and this is a platform that is fair to all. It only demands talent and hard work; no shortcuts here. It has helped me learn acting and face the camera. While I will continue to do TV, doing films is my goal."
