Protests force theatres to stop screening Santosh Sivan's 'Inam' in TN

Chennai: Cinematographer-filmmaker Santosh Sivan's Tamil war-drama "Inam", which revolves around a group of orphans during Sri Lankan civil war, will be pulled out of theatres in Tamil Nadu from Monday following protest from Tamil fringe groups."Inam" released in cinemas worldwide Friday."My love for Tamils has been questioned by some groups. I distributed 'Inam' as a cinema lover and not to hurt the sentiments of my Tamil brothers and make profits. To avoid confusion during election time, we are pulling out 'Inam' from cinemas tomorrow (Monday)," N.
