Mohanlal's Kerala Strikers deplaned at Kochi for alleged misbehaviour

The Mohanlal-owned Celebrity Cricket League team Kerala Strikers was offloaded from a flight in Kochi for allegedly misbehaving with the airline crew while on their way to Hyderabad.CNN-IBN reported that some members of the team allegedly misbehaved with the airhostess and she complained, which resulted in the entire 30-person team being removed from the flight.[caption id="attachment_1402543" align="alignleft" width="380"] Mohanlal during a CCL match. The actor is also the captain of the team.Ravi Pillai, the captain of the team told CNN-IBN they had cheered after the airhostess's demonstration of safety features on the airline because of their enthusiasm for the upcoming match."Why should there be a reason to clap? We were just enthusiastic," he said.The actor said that the pilot of the aircraft had then asked them to deplane and they had done so in order to avoid inconveniencing any of the other passengers.He said the airhostesses also didn't have a problem with them clapping on the flight, barring one, who had told the pilot. The pilot had refused to take off until they alighted."We don't know how we are going to play tomorrow's match," he said.The team is now expected to find an alternate means of getting to Hyderabad for the match.
