Jennifer Lopez's romantic comedy Second Act to release in India on 4 January; poster released

Jennifer Lopez's upcoming romantic comedy Second Act will release in India on 4 January, 2019.PVR Pictures is bringing the film to India, read a statement. The makers also released a poster of the film.In the film, Lopez features as Maya, a 40-year-old woman who is frustrated with her unfulfilling life while working in a box store. It tells how her life turns around when she finds herself in the position to land her dream job in Madison Avenue.Directed by Peter Segal, and written by Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Justin Zackham, the film also features Leah Remini, Vanessa Hudgens, Treat Williams and Milo Ventimiglia.The singer-actress had earlier unveiled the anthem from the film, titled 'Limitless', penned by Sia. The global icon first performed the song at the American Music Awards (AMAs).Lopez, whose filmography boasts of names such as The Boy Next Door, Monster-in-Law, Shall We Dance and The Wedding Planner, will be next seen in Annapurna Pictures’ Hustlers, a film inspired by a New York Magazine article by Jessica Pressler titled The Hustlers at Scores.Second Act will clash with Rob Marshall's fantasy musical film Mary Poppins Returns.(With inputs from Indo-Asian News Service)
