Israel-Hamas war: Nushrratt Bharuccha reaches India safely after Indian Embassy's help

Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha, who featured in films like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Pyaar Ka Punchnama franchise, Ram Setu and others, was stuck in Israel after she went to attend the Haifa International Film Festival. The country is currently in a war situation with Palestine as multiple rockets were launched from different locations of Hamas by them.

Soon the reports of the actress going missing surfaced on the internet but her team informed that she has reached the airport, which is a safer place and will soon be boarding the flight. Now the latest reports says that she has landed safely in India.

The actor's team told India TV, ''We have finally managed to get in touch with Nushrratt and with the help of the Embassy, she is being safely brought back home. We did not get a direct flight so she is on a connecting flight home. For her further safety, more details cannot be shared but as soon as she lands in India, we will inform you. We are relieved and thank god that she is safe and on her way to India.''

Amid the escalating war, Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel PM, has vowed to turn all known hideouts of the militant outfit into "rubble". Taking to his official handle on social media platform X, he posted, "The IDF will immediately use all its strength to destroy Hamas's capabilities. We will destroy them and we will forcefully avenge this dark day that they have forced on the State of Israel and its citizens. As Bialik wrote: 'Revenge for the blood of a little child has yet been devised by Satan'."

He added, "All of the places which Hamas is deployed, hiding and operating in, that wicked city, we will turn them into rubble. I say to the residents of Gaza: Leave now because we will operate forcefully everywhere."

On the work front, Nushrratt will be next seen in Chhorii 2, which is the sequel to the 2021 release of the same name.
